Easy 3 Ingredient Vegan Date Caramel
This vegan date caramel is easy to make, with only 3 ingredients. A much healthier, but still delicious alternative to traditional caramel.
Ingredients
- 1 cup dates
- 3 tbsp unsweetened plant milk more to thin
- ⅛ tsp salt
Instructions
- Soak whole dates in hot water for 10 minutes to soften. Discard the water and remove the pits.
- Blend together with plant milk and salt until thick and creamy. For a pourable consistency, add more plant milk.
- Serve as a spread on pancakes, or a topping on desserts.
Notes
Store Vegan Date Caramel in an air-tight container/jar in the fridge for 5 days.
