Hi there!

I’m Kristin, a 17 year old vegan content creator based in Malaysia.

I’m the home chef, recipe developer and photographer at eatwkriss. I love creating vegan versions of my favourite foods, many of which have their roots in Malaysian culture. As much as possible, I try to use local ingredients that are accessible and affordable because I believe veganism doesn’t have to be expensive.


I graduated high school at the tender age of 15, without really knowing what I wanted to do in college. So I took a gap year to explore my passions (which, at the time were dancing, singing, and picking up new languages).

I’ve always loved baking and food, so when covid-19 hit, that’s what I did. I was posting so much on my personal Instagram account that a friend encouraged me to start an account dedicated to food.

I told her, “Nah, I don’t think I can maintain leh.” The next day I created the account and that’s when eatwkriss began.

It started as a place to document my experiments with vegan food, but it soon grew into a blog and everything else with it.

Now, eatwkriss has expanded to share more than just food. I believe there is so much more to life than physical wellness, but mental and spiritual health too.

And so over the various platforms where you”ll find me, I desire to spread the message of love to all.
